Metal Supermarkets Signs Franchise Agreement to Open First Nebraska Location

OMAHA, Neb. Metal Supermarkets announced today it has signed an agreement to open its first store in Nebraska, with local entrepreneur, Rob Schlueter set to open in Omaha.

“The Omaha market is underserved when it comes to small-quantity metals,” said Schlueter, who joins Metal Supermarkets after spending several years working in corporate finance. “I look forward to filling that void for folks in Omaha and Council Bluffs. My experience managing high-performing teams and problem-solving skills will help tremendously as we launch this customer experience focused business in the early fall.”

The deal with Schlueter comes amid a pivotal growth phase for Metal Supermarkets. With over 100 locations open already across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, Metal Supermarkets is executing a strategic expansion plan to add 50 new stores during the next four years in targeted markets, including Austin, Boston, Detroit, Milwaukee, Phoenix, Sacramento and San Antonio.

“It is clear Omaha businesses and consumers need a brand like Metal Supermarkets to meet the need for small-quantity metals,” said Stephen Schober, President & CEO of Metal Supermarkets. “Rob is the perfect person to bring our first location to the state, and we’re looking forward to supporting Rob as he introduces Omaha to Metal Supermarkets this fall.”

Metal Supermarkets is actively awarding locations to qualified individuals, like Schlueter, who have strong customer service experience. Designated an essential business, Metal Supermarkets provides a recession-resistant, innovative and durable opportunity for interested franchise investors.
