Metal Supermarkets Signs Agreement to Introduce Charleston to Speed, Variety & Convenience for Small-Quantity Metals

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Metal Supermarkets announced today it has signed a franchise agreement to bring a fast and convenient metal supply option to businesses and consumers in Charleston. The new location is set to open before the end of 2021.

“Metal Supermarkets is the perfect opportunity for me, both in terms of the business model and the ability to create a legacy for my family,” said Greg Gallman, who will be the owner of the second Metal Supermarkets location in South Carolina. “There’s certainly a need for the services Metal Supermarkets provides in the Charleston market, and I’m eager to own and operate a business with my family by my side.”

The deal with Gallman comes amid a pivotal growth phase for Metal Supermarkets. With locations open across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, the company is executing a strategic expansion plan to add 50 new locations during the next four years in targeted markets, including Austin, Boston, Detroit, Milwaukee, New York, Phoenix, Sacramento and San Antonio.

Metal Supermarkets is actively awarding locations to qualified individuals like Gallman, who have strong customer service experience. The moderate investment range for a Metal Supermarkets location is between $216,500 to $403,000, and qualified owners must have a minimum of $150,000 in liquid capital to be considered. Qualified U.S. military veterans may be able to take advantage of a $5,000 reduction from the initial franchise fee.
